The Box residence is a unique project, the only one of its kind.
The residence is a glass cube in the heart of the Bayhouse building. We were given complete freedom to design the 450 m2 space.
The residence is divided into different levels allowing the views and layout of each space to stand out. The spaces are connected by stairs that, thanks to the fine lines attached to the steps, have become an object of interest in and of itself. The soaring entrance provides a view of all the spaces. This level features a lounge and an outdoor terrace. The glass fireplace connects the lounge space with the kitchen and the living room that are situated on the lower levels. The kitchen rises up from the floor, thereby creating a unified space with the top floor. The living room features a very high ceiling adorned with a unique pendant light. A galleried landing that doubles as a bar/lounge space floats above the kitchen. These levels are connected to each other by a wine cabinet and stairs.
The home features an elevator next to the stairs that provides access to the lowest level. Here, you will find the extremely spacious master bedroom with a walk-in closet made of a glass, and a glass cube containing the bathroom with sauna. At the back of the home, there is a second bedroom with its own bathroom. The mezzanine serves as a third bedroom/accommodation for visitors or a nanny.
Colours and materials
The home has been styled using sumptuous materials and warm tones, with the Italian art and design providing an exceptionally luxurious finish. The light fixtures in the mezzanine and suspended from the high ceilings are absolute eye-catchers.
The bathroom features the latest technology and is designed in such a way that each detail flows seamlessly, thereby creating a cohesive space.
